What we do

Real Estate
The focus of our tax advisory firm is on real estate tax law. It is our goal to improve and to guarantee the profitability of our clients’ investments in the long term by ensuring comprehensive and ongoing advice on all tax matters. Even though we consider ourselves to be a “young” firm, our employees contribute a high degree of experience advising on tax matters, in particular for clients in the real estate industry.
Taking care of all of these compliance duties is usually regarded as a bothersome but unavoidable evil. We handle them along with an ongoing monitoring of our clients’ needs. Frequently, tax risks may also arise in neatly designed structures when only minor changes in the legal framework or in the client’s activities are made (e.g. unrecognised separation of business activities, forming a single entity relationship for value-added tax purposes, commercial “infection”, detrimental indirect share transfers) or when applicable laws change (e.g. introduction of the interest deduction ceiling rule). Here a close cooperation between clients and their advisors often provides opportunities for dealing with dangerous developments at the right time. Accordingly, we may opt for our clients to improve existing structures. This includes guiding the sale of an investment by taking tax issues into consideration.

Other Industries
In addition to our focus on real estate we also assist clients in various other industries, e.g. free lancers or those self-employed (doctors, lawyers and notaries) as well as other service providers.
